I laid my Torana front end flat on the ground and then cut out the area where the subframe of the EK will sit. I used 90 degree 6mm plate to fill the hole made and then used the top rubber cover caps as locators on the sub frame for the rubbers to sit on/in. I measured the wheel ...

Some pics of the UC vs Torana LH / LX upper control arms... Note the offset (aft) of the UC ball joint.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see your post.....I didn't use the Torana front end, I had all the parts for sale in the classified section of this forum.
At the time I was going to use a UC / Sunbird ...
