Hello all,
I am chasing a good set of lifters suitable for the longer push rods (10 5/16") alternatively a set of lifters and shorter push rods.
Thanks,
Rod.

Re: Strong Fumes Entering Cabin
Hi There,
I just had great success with the KBS tank repair kit relining my tank. Also when you put in your gasket use a fuel resistant gasket dressing, this will help even out any unevenness in the surfaces and improve the seal. Personally I ditched the cork gasket and went with a fuel tolerant ...

Re: Restoring my tank
I have put the KBS System through my tank with great success, no more fuel smell in the boot and cabin. I had to drill out a couple of the screws on the fuel sender, so I put new threads in the lot, sealed it up with a gasket maker thats fuel resistant.

Rod.

EK Fuel Tank Drain Plug
Anyone know the thread size of this little bolt, I have accidentally cross threaded it and need to clean it up with a tap.

Restoring my tank
Hi Guys,
Is is OK to put the KBS or POR15 through my EK tank? The fuel pickup is soldered in and cannot be removed, if it has a strainer I'm tipping the POR15 will block it up, if there is no strainer am I good to go?
Cheers,
Rod.

Turning Engine By Hand
Bit of a dumb question, but do any of you have any tips on turning the engine by hand to find the timing mark. I have been using a spanner on the front pulley, however there is not a lot of room in the engine bay so I can only turn a few degrees at a time. Any clever ideas to make this easier ...

Vacuum at Idle
Hello All,
My old girl idles a little rough, I have adjusted the idle to 520RPM and have been playing with the idle fuel mixture. The shop manual says that vacuum at idle should be between 17 and 21 in. hg. however I cannot get it up 15 in. or so. Any tips?
Cheers,
Rod.

Re: Car Stalling
Hey guys,
I manual has also been stalling at the light when warm. I have upped the idle speed to 520RPM, now I'm trying to adjust my idle mixture screw and tip on doing this without burning my hand?
