Also painted my wheels white & got some chrome nuts off ebay - Peter Brock had an FJ Holden like that - I thinks ...

Distributor hold down clip

Howdy
Just wondering if you guys know how to obtain a Distributor hold down clip (1 of 2 that hold the cap to the base). One of mine fell off somewhere……
I can't seem to locate any for sale in the usual spots.
Cheers

Re: New Van

Thought I might post a pic of the motor after its major surgery. Note I resprayed it the same colour as before - a light Khaki green - not quite grey!

I'll post pics when I get it stuck on.

Removing Windows from Panel Van

Hi
Now I have decided to keep my Van long term - I am going to slowly customise it. Now it has a lovely new engine that works I was thinking of removing the 4 Side Windows so that it becomes a "Windowless" Panel Van.

Re: Anyone Got a used or Reco cylinder Head

No worries - I got 2 over the weekend. They came from an old mechanic - sitting on his shelf for decades!
He said something about the very early motors Blocks used to crack or were too thin to rebore and couldn't be repaired so he would take the heads off and put them away.
So one of those should ...

Re: Blown Head Gasket!

Howdy
Took it to the local mechanic - head gasket gone so will get the head reconditioned and am going to repaint the motor at the same time.
Thems the breaks! Should be like new after that.
