I want to check the timing on my grey motor. I bought a timing light but even with that I cannot see the timing mark on the flywheel. I even put some white paint on the mark but it didn't help.
Also when I line up the timing mark the rotor is facing number 5 lead, I turned the engine by hand ...

sorry to dig up an old thread, but im in a similiar position as above, my question is when i go to replace the braided hose with rubber i will need to modify the steel line that screws up to the old braided hose as it is flared and has the sliding screw up fitting on it.
do i just cut the flared end ...

Im the same height as you trev but the thing is these days im finding that even commercial vehicles have ample leg room but roof height is terrible.
I am interested to see how your wagon goes when its all finished and you get to do some miles in it and see how the roof height goes.

Im not sure on the cost of ceramic coating it but if the cost is not too high wouldnt that be the better option ?

Yep time is running out for painting but i can honestly say that i am looking forward to working in the shed when the weather is much much cooler

Yep i have wondered that myself. After blasting and painting for the last 16 years it hasnt hurt me, yet. I also run a water filtered unit after the first martian unit.
