Re: Gumtree: Holden Rust Panels

Here's the FB/EK section from the Ray Taylor pricelist. I was chasing some scuff plates which aren't available since he can't find a good template set to work with.

2. RH FRONT GUARD LOWER REAR smaller SECTION $ 37.55
3. LH FRONT GUARD LOWER REAR smaller SECTION $ 37.50
4. RH FRONT GUARD UPPER ...

Re: Army trim

I once had a letter from GMH indicating all the Army specs on two pages... damned if I can find the scan I had though  .

That would be pretty interesting to see. Mine has the holes for the canopy supports, and a bunch of small holes around the rear screen where I'm guessing the mesh went ...

Army trim

Hi All, I know the FB Army utes were a pretty basic trim, but were they the same as the standard? The ID plate reads 908-901. I need to do the headlining and door cards, and I'm wondering if I should just use generic ebay-style or look for something more period correct. Not doing a restoration, just ...

Sounds good Tim, I reckon at least the front section is the same. I can probably make time during the week if you are around, or can do next Friday & the weekend. PM me with a contact if you like. I'm in West End.

Floor pan reinforecement wanted FOUND

Anybody wrecking a car in the Brisbane region at present? I need the reinforcing strips that the seat bolts to (FB ute). They normally run under the floor pans, but were cut out and discarded when my floor was done. Go figure.
Cheers.

Re: Ute solid brake line

Thanks Harv, I think a new one is probably the best approach. I'll just try and bend the old one into approximately the right shape to copy it.

Ute solid brake line

Hi All, My fb ute brake lines (esp. the long front-back one) got totally mangled in transit. Does anyone know if they are the same as the sedan? I need a good replacement, or at least a straight one to use as a template. Cheers.

Red motor bits; FB ute parts

Hi Folks, It;s been a while since I posted but I have a new kit project (FB ute), and need a couple of items to get started. I'm looking in the usual online places, but thought someone here may have some garage space that needs clearing :)
At the moment I just want to see if it runs so i can move it ...

Rust repairs in Bris

Hi Folks, one of my customers needs some floor pan, lower front guard, rocker panels & lower A-pillar repairs done (or at least quoted). They have no interest in doing the work themselves. Any suggestions / experiences for the Brisbane area?
Cheers, Ralph.
