Can anyone tell me if a backing plate off an FE/FC will fit on an EK? Should be the same?

Has anyone got a set of drum brakes for an EK front? Had a minor issue with losing a front wheel resulting in a grounded down backing plate and brake drum or any suggestions on a easy disc brake conversion? Blacky..I swapped the pushrod with one out of my old engine, was same size.
Craig...so im thinking might be tomorrows mission swapping the oils over? Any reccomendations as to a particular brand? Wr have 2 auto shops in town so could be limited to choices.

Hi All
just fitted a recon 138 into my ute. Motor had been sitting for a couple of years and never been started. Had a mechanic drop it in for me and get it running , was all good with a couple of minor issues with dizzy cap etc.
Bent a pushrod on the drive home doing a little under 50 mph.
