Look to be magnums made in South Australia by Sampson Engineering Wheels, should say Sampson sa around the centre hub on inside, I have a pair of 14x7 hq wheels with screw on centre caps but these are push in type, google magnum wheels Sampson Engineering and there is a cap on a pair of wheels there

Yep realise this
tried to put the photos up and seen it in the id area pg72, would it have any mods to it, someone has also said it’s a gmh mod number and S4 was army Ute seats?? This was what I was inquiring about if S1 was a mod code and what the mod was, thanks for the help

Ek standard id tags

Hi everyone just looking through photos of the cars and tags I have and am wondering about the standard I have, it’s painted ashwood grey 110 and it’s a fleet colour but at the bottom of the tag in the TOP- it has S1 I’ll try and put up some photos

Youngy from hydraulics place owns the chev ,he has a few old cars hanging in his shop and about the place and the Ek would be the young bloke from the mechanic shop next door he has a torana and a nice hk premier also .

I think there's a long of reinventing the wheels going on here
I just brought sealed beam headlights from Rare's with the attachment plug
and my auto electrician wired them up and they throw plenty of light.
Not all that expensive either and no relay needed either.


The lights I'm talking about ...

I see on eBay you can now get H4 conversions with curved lens to match original.

I did the conversion in the early nineties to my EK215 running 186 and alternator. Originally I found halogen globes that fit the original lens mounts but the geometry was all wrong and they illuminated ...
