Re: Fb horn not working
Fingers cross it’s fixed.... I cleaned up all the contacts under the steering wheel and could get to work intermittently (which was better then what I had but still not working properly) so I wire brushed and emery papered the terminals on the horn itself and it appears to be working fine for now. H...

Re: Fb horn not working
I can get the horn to work by making contact with steering shaft under the horn button, so why won’t it be working when I press the horn then??? Thanks again for your help.

Over flow hose
Just wondering what everyone is using for the over flow hose from the top of the radiator to out the bottom of the engine bay. I got some vacuum hose but was hoping there was something that looked a bit more original.

Selector shaft seal help
Hi guys, I need to replace my selector shaft seal and was wondering if you can just unscrew the 3 retainer bolts and remove the retainer while the gearbox is still in the car?
Also is the seal fitted from the inside of the retainer?[*]

Re: 1/4 vent window help
I'm in Melbourne, pulling out the window and 1/4 vent window is no problem as I just had it all out to do the window seals and found them not to bad to get out. Would anyone have a replacement window?

Re: 1/4 vent window help
It is the frame mounted tube that has snapped the off, the handle and button assembly snap off from the window frame. Can this be fixed without sourcing a replacement 1/4 vent window?
Thank heaps for your help!

First is an original FB battery holder including the two post and wing nuts and the second is one original hose clamp ( the ones you remove with a pair of multi grips). My engine bay is pretty original but not the cleanest so the parts d...

Re: Replacing fibre timing gear help
I can't get any out yet Blacky, they all come up a little then get stuck. It's been parked up for over 20 years and looks like there has been no major work done to the engine, can that be why there's a buildup on the lifters? How can I get the lifters out without damaging them so I can reuse them if...
