Re: MildFB, customised FB wagon

I have the same question as I did in 2009.
What will it be registered as.
And under what designation is it being engineered.

Looks like an FE FC Wagon rear side window, that is a no brainer when attempting this type of conversion. All the rest of the Glass needed will be cut from flat laminated or tempered glass.

Re: Ek Holden

The paint layout comes from Buick. See how the stainless moulding make a difference. Look at the roof profile and back window on the Hard Top. Can you see a similarity to FB & EK's. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk165/Smooth_Customs/buickside_zpsd21c751b.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: Ek Holden

There are other pictures of Robs car elsewhere on this forum. The one I posted was all I had available. The car this post is about is a nice clean looking car. And without knowing what was asked for its hard to make a comment without offending someone. But I will give my honest opinion, as I do. And...

Since when do any of us make rational decisions when it comes to money and old cars      Hell if I was stupidly rich and had money burning in my pockets I'd sooner pay a shop to build an old car to my taste from scratch than just go out and buy Ferrari or something. Re: Chop Shop EK

Yeah I talked to the owner a while back, he told me it's actually an FB. He's spending plenty of $$$$ to have it unveiled at Motorex next week. Was there last year in primer with some suspension, diff and motor installed. Should be a wicked looking car when finished. don't worry about spending plen...

Re: Mechanical temp gauge and heater - how to?

The sender works fine in this location as there is ample hot water in this fitting for the heater at all times. And its location so close to the head and water jacket. There will always be hot water in the hoses and fitting, as the valve only stops flow through the heater. But doesn't stop the heat ...
