Re: Parts wishlist
If you search the parts wanted forum there is one where a guy claims he has lots of chrome trim for the side of the car. You will need to go back quite a few pages and read the replies.

Parts wishlist
I am just wondering which parts everyone finds hard to get as I am interested in trying to help source them or finding a way to manufacture them; but I need an idea of demand. Just reply with a part description and I will see if I can be of any help. Darren

Re: Vl commodore diff and suspension
Thanks for the reply. I believe the diff will need to be reduced in width which is a specialised job for a differential engineering firm. At this point it is possible to put in discs brakes which might as well be done at the time.

Vl commodore diff and suspension
Hi all. Iam doing a RB31 conversion on an EK ute. I have the entire diff, tail shaft and suspension from a donor VL wagon. Has any one done a VL to Ek rear conversion and if so could you share your experience. The VL is drum rear but this can be changed to disc whilst the axles are shortened. The ...

Re: Chassis Cleaning
Thanks Chopped,
I will buy a 2 or 4 litre of rust converter from the local paint shop this converts and seals at the same time. I will attach the poly pipe to the end of the garden pressure sprayer for extra length. The local guy at rare spares suggested cutting a hole into the chasis from the ...

Re: Chasis Cleaning
Thanks choped and tm50. I will investigate the wax unit, meanwhile I am not clear on the poly pipe method. What do you attach the polly to so that you have air pressure and how do you feed in the rust killer. I have a garden pressure spray unit and this may be useful. I also have access to compresed ...

Chassis Cleaning
Hi Guys, I have a EK ute which is fairly ordinalry at the moment, it is mostly stripped to date. I am wondering if any one can give me advice on how to remove the packed in dirt from the chassis. Further to this, the metal is rusty on the inside of the chassis and needs treating. Access here is the ...
