Re: our FB ute

Thanks for the encouragement, would love to get down to Renmark, still a bit to go yet I'm afraid. We have gone for 'as it left the dealer', however the wider wheels would make it look a little tougher, as tough as a pink ute can look? ScottySarah, this will be a great vehicle when you finish it... ...

Re: our FB ute

Here's the latest progress, hood lining and windscreen fitted, has anyone experienced puckering of the windscreen seal? Just a bit on the two top inside corners.

Re: our FB ute

Hi Stephen, As original as we can, still undecided on rims though, don't know if to go with standards or wides. (Regular hubcaps though) The photos of my dad, he's 65 now, and was blown away when we took him to the body shop to see the paint for the first time. Here's hoping I wasn't conceived in th...

our FB ute

Just wanted to share our FB project. This is such a great forum, we couldn't have got so far without the paint codes posts. (Morning grey and reefshell coral for those of you playing along at home.) The ute was in a pretty bad way (financially not a great investment), but it had family history and I...

Re: Two tone FB Ute?

yeah I just had a look at the FC pages, though I am next to certain it's not, only I am away from the vehicle at the moment. It seems logical that a dealer has painted the roof the tailgate and above the chrome strip, and fitted up an old FC bonnet bird,

Re: Two tone FB Ute?

Thanks Steve, It looks a lot like the ute we have has been fitted with an after market Flash kit, It must have also been fitted with extra chrome headlight, taillight surrounds, and Dash. Am going to grab a photo of the tags. It also has a Bonnet emblem that I haven't seen much on the forum photos, ...

looking for Colour samples, seagul grey and reefshell coral

i was just wondering if anyone had photos of cars with either reefshell coral, or seagul grey? I think they are the two colours on the ute job we are doing, it would be great to see examples on actual cars,

Two tone FB Ute?

Just wondering if anyone knew of the existence of many FB's fitted with two tone paint and 'special' chrome, We are beginning a rebuild on our Pink and Grey FB ute, It doesn't have 'special' badging but does have two tone paint and Chrome? Would it have been a dealer option, or was it a factory opti...
