Re: TAILSPIN TWO-DOOR FB HOLDEN DEBUTS AT MOTOREX
Some video of Tailspin in action (amongst the other Summernats Grand Champion contenders). Video gives a much better look at how the styling works or doesn't work. Not my taste, I'll just leave it at that

2 door FB with flip front
Was revealed at Summernats, got a place in the Top 60 https://www.streetmachine.com.au/events/summernats/1801/the-great-uncover-summernats-31-(1) An unveil car, Daniel Beauchamp's WILDFB ticked big points for us with the sweet teal paint and two-door conversion. Under the tilt front-end lies a twin-...

Re: tailspin
i loved the concept drawing but as with a lot of drawings something has been lost I got Street Machine today, for this article mostly. They wanted to keep the car a modified FB not an ICV, which required a different approach to the concept sketches. Gotta say, I appreciate the build more now. Still...

Re: tailspin
The car is ugly, but it's been finished beautifully    I'd spend more time checking this out at a car show than I would a restored FB/EK, but I'd prefer the resto in my own shed. Their goal was to build a complete one off that turned heads and they've arguably achieved that

Re: 10m long hand painted sign, street art project
That came out looking good. Especially with the contrast of all the colour you can see behind it Hewey! Thanks mate. That was exactly the idea behind the simple colour palette and layout. Sometimes less is more  I hear where you're coming from Billy. I'm into a few things that ...

Re: Leo's Rebuild.....
Great to see it getting some love. The plans for flake, full caps and spats sounds great - enough to give it a new lease of life, but it'll still be recogniseable as the same car.

Re: 10m long hand painted sign, street art project
Please tell me they didnt paint over that old Cotties painted sign. Awesome stuff man, it amazes me how they do it on such a large scale. No, Cottees sign hasn't and won't be touched. Had some interesting chats to people about it while I was painting. Some people wanted to see it gone, some wanted ...

Re: 10m long hand painted sign, street art project
Thanks guys. The corrugated iron has been a challenge, but not quite as much as the weather. On Saturday when I was driving there the alarm in the car came on to say it was 4 degrees and there may be ice on the road  Part of the sign was to include the social media/internet links for the proj...

10m long hand painted sign, street art project
In Katoomba this weekend they've just launched 'The Street Art Walk'. It's a legal and fully council approved street art project coordinated by Street Art Murals Australia, who are a not for profit organisation. Before this, this was a dingy back alleyway, with bare bricks, rubbish bins, and all the...
