Whilst my other half was (gently???) adjusting the left hand sun visor the other day the bracket cracked. If anyone has one they'd like to off load please let me know.
Cheers,
Scott.

Re: Cam suggestions
Thanks for that. All pretty much along the line of what I was thinking.
The current compresion is around the 10.5 mark for the engine in it now but you have to remember this is for an engine being rebuilt so I'm open. I had in mind throwing a 173 head on it but I'm still open at this stage. If not ...

Cam suggestions
I've got a 186 on the stand for a rebuild and am after some advice on cam size before I go too far down any other route.
I'm going to rebuild it similar I think to the current 186 in the wagon which is as follows:
186 (60 thou over)
stage 3 yella terra head
1.688 HD inlet and 1.440 HD exhaust ...

Re: Carburettor Reco Brisbane
I bought a reco'd Holley from Recarb on the Sunny Coast. They do a 350 redone to 330cfm specifically for the 6 allegedly. I say allegedly because I bought one and after 3 changes of jets and 2 changes of power valves and the 2 dyno runs it's now finally running well ;)
Still, even at its worst it ...

Gazza,
I'm at Mooloolah Valley, about ten inutes away. Might be able to help out if you haven't sorted anything yet.

Re: Handbrake relocation
Had some problems with the brakes but it's all pretty much sorted after a flex hose replacement last week and I'm pretty much there. Here's some pics. Some are a bit dodgy but I was having problems getting the camera to focus. Hope it helps anyway.

Re: Seat belts to the back seat of a wagon ??
My setup is similar to trev. I'll post some pics when I get it back from the painter later this week.
For now though here's some pics I sent QT when getting recognition of the NSW mods

brass tailgate body clips
Hi guys,
I'm chasing the body clips for the "Station Sedan" badge for the wagon tailgate. When I took the badge off to run to the chromer I found there were only three of the four clips, so effectively I'm really just chasing one. Slightly bigger than the ones for the guard badging. Cheers.

I've got a couple sitting in the shed and am thinking about getting them painted up and throwing them on.
Cheers.

Re: Wagon rear bar section and overrider
Any reasonable condition is okay as they will be rechromed anyway
