cant really set a password up for it as all it takes is 1 person to let the password out and its useless. Definitely want it marked in some way so people know it was from the fbekholden.com website and that its FREE, so if anyone tries to sell it on ebay it makes it abit harder for them.

This is the problem we are going to have. My copy is Definately going to have a large watermark over it.

We have gone through the right avenues to get written permission that has my name on it, so if any of these copies end up on ebay i wont be a happy camper as i dont want any trouble coming down ...

Do you think it would be a good idea to water mark every page with 'AVAILABLE FREE AT WWW.FBEKHOLDEN.COM'? Or maybe a logo? I do not want people putting this on ebay for sale. So anything we can do to stop it the better!

I have been given written permission from Holden to upload the workshop manual, as long as there is no commercial gain! How good is that!, Bad for people who ebay manuals but good for the fb ek community as a whole.

Holden have put me on to someone else, once i hear back from them i'll let you all know

I agree Rosco, Some idiots are out there to make a quick buck, they dont care what they do to get it either.

Yes there are ALOT of pages, the only downfall is that i dont want people copying it then selling it for profit on ebay. I'm happy to host it online for use of members, I'm also happy to burn copies and send them for the price of the cd and postage.

But i am waiting to hear back to see if i can ...

how much trouble would i get in if i scanned a genuine ek holden one and uploaded it for everyone?....

Possibly $60? From memory, could be wrong though. You will find the clutch warranty will be void if you dont get the flywheel machined so really you gotta do it
