Re: Lucas headlamp

Look I have to ask, Have you driven one of these old girls with the origional lights?
Yes mate, good question. In answer to yours, yes I've driven either an EK sedan or ute every day for twelve and eight years respectively with only one sealed beam headlamp between them. Lucas isn't called the ...

Re: Lucas headlamp

Yes, they are both the same. I would like to fit the non sealed-beam type because it's original and matches the other one.

Re: Lucas headlamp

G'day Harv, thanks for the offer, it's very kind of you.
I re-read my post and made a change to make it more accurate. Just to clarify, I'm after an original Lucas non-sealed beam headlamp (the kind you can change the bulb on). If this is what you have and would like to donate (or sell) it to a ...

Lucas headlamp

Does anyone have a Lucas headlamp they would sell me? My daily driver EK sedan has a sealed beam LHS headlamp that's blown. I'd really like to fit an original Lucas unit to match the RHS instead of a new sealed beam lamp.
Cheers.

Re: Overheating.....grrrrrrr

I just want to add that PWR does a core that can be built into the stock frame/tanks. This new core has more and bigger tubes and when painted (it's not alloy) looks fairly original. The fin design is "triangular" not "horizontal" and allows better air flow. It's fairly expensive but works very well!

EK brakeshoe availability?

Does anyone know where I can get a set of brake shoes? I did the ute a couple of years ago and bought them "off the shelf" from Repco. Now I need to do them on our sedan but can't find any. I could get them re-bonded but can't afford the down time as this car is my wife's Daily (kids to preschool ...

FB/EK ute LH door glass

Can anyone point me in the direction of a LH door glass to suit my daily driven EK utility?
I know that Rare Spares have them (without channel), but would prefer an original if poss.

I concur with Fatboy and Trev about the fist three pics. I'm just guessing because I've never seen one but, could the last couple of pics be a washer jet? Looks like a hose connection, plus if it was in the same box...
