Re: Harv's FED thread

Another dumb rule we have to follow to play.

SFI rated padding resistant to melting onto a driver held in place with plastic cable ties (which do melt..)

It’s all ticking along nicely Harv!

SC14 Supercharger and 186

$1000.00

Holden 186 with SC14 Supercharger

Engine prefix 186A
Block casting number H26 (August 66)

Came with a project and is surplus to my needs.

No idea of condition or what is needed to complete the supercharger kit. Appears to be a Hadfield kit. Definitely needs intake pipe and manifold not ...

Re: Eddie

Yeah they are a cool wheel. These specific ones are the old front runners off Mr terrific/captain nitrous.

I’ve got a rear pair I’ve tracked down too but I need to go pick them up and see what the fitment and condition of them is like.

Re: Grey Motor Drag Car Build

I’m hoping this one is over engineered and well under stressed for what I’m doing with it.

That bloody crank cost more than the entire previous engine..

Re: Grey Motor Drag Car Build

Been very quiet with this poor old thing. FB build drawing the fun budget and then a bit of a side quest with Eddie which was never in the cards. Plus work, not being home for most events meant this thing has pretty much been sitting in the naughty corner.

Struck up a plan with Adam at HSD to get ...

Re: Eddie

Didn’t get much done on Eddie this break. Took the Mrs and kids to Melbourne to watch the lions put one over the cats and do a bit of sight seeing.

Anyway chucked some filters on to replace the zip tied rags keeping the rust going down the carbs.

Will try dig the linkages out of the other impala ...

Re: Eddie

Fitted the modified impala floor shifter but need to get my head around the linkage setup. Not sure I have this right and haven’t had the time to test. I guess I’ll soon find out if I have it right or not… most likely I’ll have it wrong…

Give us a yell if you want the instructions or photos for ...

Re: Eddie

Had a good mate from my RAAF days 40th in Darwin last break so didn’t get a lot done except a heap of fishing, drinking beer and talking shit and reminiscing about the trouble we would get up to with a couple of other ex airforce mates. Funnily enough exercise pitch black was on at the time so we ...
