Re: Weber Carbies
Looks good Fingers, I took my car for a run the other day. It's running a bit lean on the idle jet so I have ordered a couple of bigger sizes to try out. I ended up doing a cable conversion as well...wasn't that fun trying to get it sorted. I couldn't get the cable to pull the butterflies open ...

Re: Weber Carbies
Hi Fingers,
Manifold is going to be custom made (will post some pics when done). As for engine mods, it is a grey with extractors & a mild cam. I bought it 2nd hand so don't really have much info on specs. http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,11799.0.html

Re: Weber Carbies
I am just in the process of getting a weber carby for my grey motor...bit of conflicting advice from carb suppliers as to which weber is better to use 32/38 or 4adm ie falcon. I am leaning towards 32/38.

Re: New exhaust, which size? 138 Grey motor
Hi Tom,
I had a set of extractors & a 2" system on my stock motor & it went well. If you are going to change the exhaust size then I would get a set of extractors or the more expensive but more period looking headers to go with it. The exhaust note is worth the price .
Good luck,
Dean.
