Nah..the carby is spick n span spotless..its quite new actually...so...its as clean as a babies bum.

accelerator done..BUT....
Ok....dammit...one problem then presents another..
I have completed changing from linkages to L300 mitusbishi cable for my accelerator....BUT...
i take it for a drive..and its breaking down at higher revs..say around the 40 grand mark....breaking down hugely.
Not sure why
BUT.....i have never ...

YAY..all systems go...finally its out.
Now just a quick tidy up underneath......and im right..
OH...and in the other thread..THANKYOU so much guys for the "weld on a 2 inch bit" idea. It DOES work.

There was no room to do anything, coz the daft pedal itself was in the way..but...one easy out later and a drill extension easy out..and WOOLAHHH....at around midnight last night...got it out...

1 bolt to go
ok..well....looks like i have a plate built with nuts welded into it at the underneath of my car..that you DONT remove..lol
so far...used the smallest easy out to get one nut out....the other ones farked..so i just bought a screw extractor..and goin to drill that into the remaining bolt...and see ...

still no luck
ok..my easy outs are too big
underneath the car...the nuts look like they are welded onto a plate or something..theyre covered with that much deadener and paint.....faaark....
any ideas?
cant get the pedal out of the way enough INSIDE the car..to get any socketes on properly anyways.....grrr

hmmm
am going to try to put a smaller socket on it shortly (when i finish gettin my hair done)...lol
its all WD40'd up.
also....might just remove it..and get another pedal.
if weld it..cant leave it in the car...as the rubber on pedal will melt....needs to be cooled down ever so quickly.

accelerator pedal bolts very rounded
hmm..so...
has anyone else taken out their accelerator pedal...and found that upon doing so....the bolts are so rounded off and old and rusty???
hmm...tackle this how??
have sprayed and sprayed...might just keep on spraying WD40 on em till they drop out... (i could hope)
