genuine gmh gaskets last the longest make sure no pressure is on exhaust as all that weight on manifold flexes fit bracket to exhaust to rear of engine wast gate pipe hanging off adds drama run it into exhaust retension bolts after run retension bolts

if you have to remove starter fit short body type more room to waste gate would fit heat shield to starter if you havnt i had same kit in lj torana it used to stuff starters untill i fitted heat shield as turbo and manifold get very hot white hot bonnet vent grill will help you will be good at chang...

use bosch alternator inbuilt reg with 2 mounting legs no brackets needed or welding think xf &*#@ ones you can use rear generator bracket the one that bolted to eng block for rear leg using longer bolt and spacer tube front leg fits to engine block when you remove geny mount bolt just drill front leg to fit larger front bolt space alt forward with some washers to line belt up mount front first so you know how long spacer tube is for rear i have the belt number if you use this and need it

red motor balancer will not fit grey motor you can buy one that will fit grey motor looks like red motor one from bursons or rare spares

with rocker removed from shaft there should be oil grooves in bush in an X patern if bush feels smooth cant see any grooves it wont let oil out of hole in shaft

no oil or little oil getting to rockers dismantle rockers from shaft you will find the bushes are that worn at top there is no x oil grooves left to fix fit new bushes or good sh set of rockers

ecu pulses earth to injectors injectors always have power and you are getting power on both wires because injectors are a coil and feeding through loom this is normal do not use a globe of high wattage to test for pulsing you need a special test light where did you feed power to ecu from not sure ab...

vn vp have different port spacing on inlet and exhaust so heads are different to ecotech motors, so cant swap manifolds, vr have same port layout as vn vp,vr have roller rocker standard, vs ecotech didnt, they also played around with the stroke and bore size, any of these engines are way more refine...
