Thanks Tim, is it complete, do you have the headers and 2brl manifold ?
headers and manifold are in the shed somewhere, don't know if there original, wouldn't know if they have any identifiable markings

I got the steering column out on the weekend, :D
and yes there were shims..

Thomo, I didn't pay attention to were they came out(I forgot), but I'm putting an auto column in so I hope it doesn't matter. :|

I didn't relise they were studs on the column mount.
I was looking for bolts. :oops:

Removal of steering column

Hi all, have found some time to work on the car, only, I'm having trouble removing the steeering column. :oops:
The collar part that is attatched to the dashboard. I have tried levering it with a screwdriver hitting it with the hammer but it won't move :? :?
I've read the manual but can't find ...

HI all,
I'm having trouble taking appart that channel that I marked with the red arrow. :oops:
can anyone help?
also are these channels all replaceable, cause these ones are a little worse for wear.

I spoke to CIG about wich mig to use, thier suggestion was a
Transmig 135. As the name suggests 135amp.
The bloke I talked to said this was ample to do all my auto repairs,
easy to use, gas or gasless and the price is reasonable, about $750. I have bought one, but havn't
tried it out, cause I've ...
