Great advice thanks Clay. I bought the seals about 4 years ago (when I thought I could restore the vehicle quickly), very naive indeed. Biggest problem has been almost with painters. First got started on panels nearly 6 months after he said he would start, just did the panels, not the body and did a ...

I am thinking of giving it a crack myself, trick will be not to get it all over the new headlining :-) Rarepsares have done a good video online, probably makes it look easier than it is .

Windscreen replacement - mastic or no mastic?

Hi guys. I have new rubbers for my EK front and back glass. I have had someone suggest there is no need to apply a sealant/mastic as it is too messy and unnecessary as new rubbers whould seal just fine. I would be keen to hear other's thoughts.
